Now deciding to become a superhero and like Shadybug, he allied himself with Betterfly and adopted a new name, with that one being Paw Noir. Back downstairs, Alya manages to take Sabine's phone just as she wakes up from the television. In Marinette's bedroom, The Supreme points out that only he can change reality as Tikki and Plagg go back into their original forms and as Marinette stumbles back in shock and accidentally breaks a mirror.

Betterfly pleads with Marinette to take him to Ladybug and Chat Noir, but Marinette, unsure to whether trust him, declines his request, denying any knowledge of their whereabouts. Alya briefly regains consciousness and wonders if he's Monarch, but Betterfly begins explaining that Alya is an ally in his universe and created a portal connection between his and their world. Alya is soon taken over by her alternate counterpart once more, alerting them that Shadybug and Claw Noir forced her to reopen the portal and warned them to run. After the heroes escaped from them, Claw Noir followed Shadybug to Marinette's room, where Claw Noir noticed Marinette's photos of main Adrien and played with her dolls while mocking their good counterparts. As the good counterpart of his partner, Ladybug was an enemy of his as well, especially after she stopped him and Shadybug from taking Betterfly's Miraculous and Claw Noir mocked her statements that the Miraculouses are only meant to be used by good and also destroyed her Lucky Charm object.

Shadybug continues reading Marinette's secret diary, becomes touched and cries upon reading how Marinette's life is filled with joy, friendships and happiness with those near her that support and help her in any kind of situation imaginable. She reads about how the Ultimate Power and the Wish can be unlocked and the price that comes with it. Quietly, creating a pair of handcuffs as a Lucky Charm, she sneaks up behind Claw Noir, taking him by surprise and handcuffs him as he falls to the ground. Unfortunately for him, Shadybug takes off his Miraculous just before he finishes activating his power. Rendering him powerless, Shadybug discovers to her shock that the secret identity Claw Noir is none other than Adrien Agreste.
Since Claw Noir now uses his powers for good, it's unknown if he still possesses the ability to use Cataclysm multiple times. Despite his physical superiority however, Claw Noir seemed less intelligent than his counterpart, as he was overall much more aggressive and wasn't able to realize Cat Noir intentionally exposed himself. As Claw Noir, Adrien became more aggressive and destructive with his powers, showing no hesitation or fear of hurting others or himself with them. After his redemption, he no longer has black lips, the under-cut of his hair grew and turned blonde, his eyes became green and his spiked bell turned into a golden one.

Secondary or Temporary Miraculous:
Meanwhile, at the swimming pool, Cat Noir and Claw Noir fight as Cat Noir asks Claw Noir why he's after a Miraculous he already owns. He responds by saying that his and Shadybug's don't work but his and Ladybug's do indeed. When Claw Noir reveals the loss of his mother hurt him deeply and that he wants to bring her back using the wish.
Alya concerningly asks Marinette if she managed to escape Betterfly, Marinette responds by informing Alya that she believes Betterfly may actually be a superhero instead of a villain as she shows the duel between Shadybug, Claw Noir and Betterfly as she gasps in surprise. Being Marinette/Ladybug's counterpart in her universe, she has an identical appearance. The details that differ her from her counterpart are the hairstyle which, despite still having two pigtails, has now bangs that cover her left eye, with a pink streak. Prior to healing herself with the Miraculous Shadybug, Marinette also had black veins on her skin from overuse of her Miraculous, with the veins crawling up her face after her failed attempt to summon Gimmi.

Unknown to her, Gabriel has a superhero identity as Betterfly, who defected from the Supreme, stealing two Miraculouses, and thus was Shadybug's enemy. After she and Claw Noir reformed, Shadybug decided to rename herself Ladybug in honor of her counterpart, who hugged her and did a "pound it" before returning to her universe with Claw Noir and Betterfly. After the heroes escaped, Shadybug went to Marinette's room to find clues, where she found about her being in love with Adrien, much to her disgust. After realizing no wish could save her from her affliction nor grant her a better life, Shadybug broke in tears.
